Barceló Anfa Casablanca

Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Zineb checked us in and helped us several times, always with a smile. Teresa, the manager, was wonderful. She also welcomed us at check in and helped us get medical help when our child hurt her ankle. I can’t say enough nice things about how well we were treated. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. The decor everywhere is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and so clean. Shower was great. We weren’t able to use the pool, but it looked inviting. We would definitely come back and plan to stay at Barceló hotels elsewhere.

1. Location was superb. Easy access to offices (if you are there for business) and to a lot of nearby restaurants. Arab league park is around 900m away (where I went for my daily morning runs), and the Hassan II corniche is about 1.5km away as well. 2. Breakfast spread was good (although it was almost the same every day during our 6 days of stay) 3. Check in process was smooth and the person at the reception was quick to give us a room, even though we checked in 1 hour earlier 4. Gym was ok, with a couple of treadmills, 2 ellipticals and a few other equipment and weights, although early morning, I often found there was no towel available often.

The pool and surrounds and gym were great and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Pool well maintained and an oasis after the crazy world outside. When we complained staff were quick to try and fix, but the proactive maintenance left a little to be desired. Room was of a good size and location very central. Gym better than most hotel gyms.

Beautiful hotel, very clean , rooms were stunning, hotel public area’s stunning. The pool area really lovely . The hotel was the perfect escape from the busy streets of Casablanca. Staff were also very good. Only thing is the shower is in the bedroom (with a kind of frosted glass), I and my partner didn’t mind. WC was hidden away though . Even with the shower in the room, it was still a gorgeous room.

This hotel is good for business travelers. it has all the amenities of a five star hotel like in any other major city in the world. Hotel is on a Main busy Street but rooms are well insulated from the noise. Location wasn’t bad but not great either. It is a about a 30 min walk to the mosque and Ricks cafe and at night it’s not recommended to walk. the Rooms are nicely furnished but the bathroom is open to the room except for the toilet so not your traditional set up. Beds are very comfortable with good quality sheets! we didn’t use the pool or gym so can’t comment on those.
